COMET COMPETENCE CENTER FOR EXCELLENT TECHNOLOGIES
Competence Center CHASE is a COMET Center within the COMET Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies Program, funded by BMIMI, BMWET, the Federal States of Vienna and Upper Austria, and its scientific partners. COMET is managed by FFG.

​​As a K1 Competence Center for research and technology in chemical systems engineering, we enable companies in the chemical process industry to make their production more energy-efficient, more resource-saving, and more sustainable by virtualizing, intensifying, and transforming their processes according to the principles of the circular economy.

Process Digitalization
Polymer technologies and engineering to optimize processes, productivity, and sustainability.
Process Intensification
Intensifying (bio-)chemical production to improve process stability, efficiency, design, and control.
Circular Processing
Transforming linear processes into circular for sustainable material and process flows and building reusable solutions for recycling.
